5 stars An inside look at a long time warrior
Shamrock fought in both UFC 1 and through UFC 48 which covered a span of about 12 years. In both 1 and 48 he won quickly, one by submission, the other a knockout by knee. The fighters started out as bare knuckle brawlers and are now not just bashers, but also effective technicians. This guy fought alot of fights over that span. (Some of them really brutal in Japan)He was in UFC 48 and on the Ultimate Fighter show on Spike TV in the first year's season finale. He recently just fought in Pride FC (a Japanese fight event) In my opinion, he's not only a great fighter, who was a HUGE part of making the UFC what it is today, but a good guy, trying to do the right thing. If you've ever seen him work a fighter's corner, you can tell he cares. (ask Pete Williams or Guy Mezger) I can't question his heart. Any question of his ego are addressed in his interview after his first fight with Gracie in UFC 1. This is a good video for any UFC fan wanting to see how a fighter thinks and see the history of Ultimate Fighting. I would compare him to the "Ali" of the UFC, in the aspect that they both were featured champions who burst on the scene with flair and fought a long time. (unfortunately for both, too long) No one will ever fight as long, or as much, as he did. Watch it and see some interesting background on the UFC and Ken. If you're a fan of UFC, check it out.

5 stars Shamrock Video is 5 Stars
This is a great video although a little out of date. It rns through Ken's best UFC fights, some good some not so. He commentates some of his fights including his revenge superfight against Royce Gracie, when he kicks Royce's ass. This is an excellent video for any ufc fan. I can't say i noticed Ken having an ego.

4 stars Shamrock fans only
This video relives all of Ken Shamrocks fights in the UFC. Remember he was in the very first UFC when he lost to Royce Gracie in the semi-finals. He vowed to get revenge and feels he did at UFC five in their superfight. Listen to shamrock insult Gracie on numerous occasions (monkey-ass) as he commentates over all the footage. Some of Kens criticism is uncalled for, as himself and ecspecially Royce are both true champions. Some of the fights show excellent technique (Smith, Kimo), some power (Johnson, Lenninger) and some make you sleep (severn, Taktarov). Shamrock made an impact in the UFC, but his record is nothing special, I would have liked to see him fight Ruas, Coleman, Frye or Abbot (he faced none). I don't feel he will go down as one of the best, due to his record and lack of big name oponents that existed when he was active in the UFC. A good video, but only for a Shamrock fan or die-hard UFC fan.

3 stars It's kinda nostalgic... in a egotistical sorta way......
This video is GREAT.... if you are into watching Ken talk about how great he is, how he 'ended' Royce Gracie's fighting spirit, how he returned to the ring after his first loss and 'reclaimed what was his'. I must admit that I'm a Shamrock fan but I never knew how much of an egotistical moron he can be. If you want to relive some old time matches or see a little (and I do mean little) never before televised shots, then get it.... if you're like me... buy a DVD player and pop in UFC Hits #1 and #2. You won't be disappointed....
