5 stars I'm 12, but cry watching the 2nd film
"There's no time for love, Charlie Brown" is funny, but, the 2nd is sorrowful. It shows you no matter how hard he tries, Charlie Brown will never get the girl. The comic strips were hilarious, but why do they write sorrowful specials. I feel the same about (for other reasons) the follow specials:

"Snoopy Come Home"
"It's your First Kiss, Charlie Brown"
&
"I want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown"

4 stars Unrequited Love Is In The Air
There's No Time for Love is probably most significant for the debut of Marcy in the history of Charlie Brown specials. She's smart, sincere, and well-meaning. Her only flaw is that she always calls her best friend Peppermint Patty "sir" (who has to remind Marcy endless times "STOP CALLING ME SIR!")! Both of them have one thing in common- they have a crush on Chuck. All 3 of them are supposed to go to the art museum on a school trip but they make a detour to the supermarket!

Charlie Brown falls in love with a girl he sees at a game on TV in Someday You'll Find Her, Charlie Brown. Determined to find her, he goes to the stadium where she was (with a little "help" from Linus and Snoopy) and spends the entire day searching for his TV romance (he makes a few wrong turns, though).

3 stars One of the more forgettable Peanuts double features
I love Peanuts, and own many of the videos. Unfortunately, this combo is one of the more forgettable of the "Double Feature" tapes.

The first show, "No Time for Love," is the better of the two. While it has its pleasant moments, some of the best bits of dialogue (such as a couple of Sally's classroom diatribes) are repeated verbatim in the far superior video release, "A Charlie Brown Celebration" (a much better purchase choice, if you don't own it already). Some of the proto-romantic interactions between Peppermint Patty, Charlie Brown, and Marcy are cute, but overall the program isn't too memorable.

The second program on the tape, "Someday You'll Find Her," is one of the shallowest, least satisfying Peanuts programs in memory. In addition to purveying an insipid and demeaning concept of "love" (Charles sees a girl on TV for a split-second, during a so-called "honey shot" of the crowd at a football game), the premise is far too thin to sustain a full half-hour program. You and your kids will be bored half-way through.

If you're thinking about purchasing one of the Snoopy Double Feature tapes, I'd recommend looking into Volumes 1-4 before you consider buying this one.

5 stars Extremely excellent
I adored this movie. It is very funny. I remember Marcie going to Pepperiment Patty's house at 4.00 a.m. And the second cartoon when that Little blond-hair girl fell in love with Linus instead of Charlie Brown.
