I can't believe this video is out of print.
This is such a charming video and so true to the book, Corduroy, by Don Freeman, which inspired it. My kids, ages 5 and 8, have borrowed it many times from our local library, and are enchanted each time they see it. If your child has fallen in love with the Corduroy stories, as mine have, I highly recommend it.

This video is wonderfully entertaining and a joy to watch!
My son and I love to watch Corduroy over and over and over. I particularly enjoy the message it sends about not giving up and how to take care of your things.

One of the few children's videos I'd like to own
I'm so distressed "Corduroy" is out of print! If it's ever re-issued, buy it for your child of any age! It's a delightful visual version of the original book, itself a treasure. It's not animated in the traditional way, but uses actors and a charming stuffed bear who comes to life.

The other two short films on this video are also excellent: They are animations of a classic American (Blueberries for Sal) and a classic translated German (Panama) children's story, respectively.
