a family movie for older children
I was five years old when this movie came out. I'm not sure how old I was when I watched it for the first time, but I was way too young. For the longest time I was filled with horrific images that my imagination ran away with from this movie. This movie has never left my memory banks and I so desperately want to see it again! Now that I'm older, I'm hoping it won't give me nightmares!

Amazing!
When i was in elementary school, i was in a program for advanced students. we watched this at the end of every year, and we looked forward to it every year. it was one of my fondest memories of that program. six years later, i finally found it and ordered it, and watching it brings back all of those great memories. sure, the story is totally out of whack, but the message that the story conveys is great. it doesnt matter who you are or who your parents are, but if you have someone that loves you and takes care of you, it is the greatest thing in the world. i'd reccomend it to anyone, and only hope it becomes more available in the future because i know of a few friends who want their own copies...

Funny, but above all just a really neat story
I first saw this when I was the same age as most of the cast. Now I'm 24 and this is still my favorite movie. All the actors are excellent. Even though it is for children, it appeals to all ages. There is humor throughout the entire movie, but above all it is just a really neat story. If you're into science fiction you'll like the concept, and even if you aren't you'll still enjoy Konrad.

Even though it is a children's story, it appeals to any age. There is humor throughout the entire movie, but above all it's just a really neat story (too good to give away). If you're into science fiction you'll like the concept, but even if you aren't, you'll still enjoy Konrad. Don't just take my word for it. The Chicago Tribune called it "One of the best children's videos you'll ever see, guaranteed to delight."
