Very loud and obnoxious toy
Ugh, I don't care for this toy at all. I was looking for a driving toy and thought this one would be fun, but my son (9 months) and I both find it annoying. First, it's deafeningly loud, even on the quieter setting. Second, the sounds are far too startling and far too many -- I can see him getting distressed after only 30 seconds or so. Having quieter, shorter noises that are actually caused by some action on the child's part would be much more enjoyable and educational. Third, as several other reviewers noted, the phrases it says make it a great training toy if you want your kid to be a total brat. I don't ever want to hear "get outta the way!!" escape my son's lips in that awful, demanding tone. I only give it two stars because he seems to enjoy examining it with the sound OFF (which is its now permanent state).

My kids loved it!
My kids loved it. It sings abc's, says beep beep, B is for Bee, Red circle, the sphere shaped bar across the top, spins like you are at the casino and whatever pictures it lands on, it explains what it landed on.
The numbers, shapes, colors, abcs, animals.
It can teach the child a lot.

Ignore the bad reviews
AWESOME TOY...MUST HAVE IT!! I have never ever bothered to write a review before...but all the reviews are soo wrong. Ok the kids sounds a little obnoxious but I hardly think your kid will be a brat because of it. If you want a toy that totally occupies your baby and they don't get bored of it after tons of use then this is perfect. This toy which I got used from someone else seems like a really stupid toy.... However.. my boy/girl twins seem to LOVE it! It totally occupies them and keeps them busy. They get physical therapy 2X a week and they love it so much she uses it to give them something to focus on while practicing sitting. They can use it laying down very easily. They got it at 6 mos old and love it. So ok it isn't teaching them letters and numbers really but come on they are babies.. plenty of time for that later. What it does teach though is fine motor skills because my kids take their time focusing on each button and getting their fingers to push that button. I will practice sitting up with my babies and put it in front of them so they don't realize they are exersizing. Oh and the toy gets them soo excited because they can easily use it and get all the buttons to work. Its the first toy we ever had that did that. My 2 can also work the phonics bus easily but they get bored of it in 2 seconds. Get this toy and you will be glad you did.. the babies LOVE it..oh and my 9 and 11 yr old nieces play with it too whenever they come over..lol

RUDE TOY!
I am with everyone else, this toy IS rude. What happened to teaching kids manners? The "outta the way" is so nasty. I don't like it. I wouldn't buy it again for my kids or anyone else.

Drive in the other direction...
I purchased this toy for my son's first birthday and have regretted it ever since. I agree with the other reviews as far as loudness (very loud) and rudeness of the 'narrator' of the toy. I would never want my children saying "get outta the way" to anyone and I am in shock that the manufacturer would include this in a toy- especially for children who are beginning to aquire language skills (according to age recommendation for this toy). The most irritating aspect, for me as the parent, is when the ABC song comes on not only is it cut short but the voice singing it is so off-key it makes me cringe. I don't believe the spinning ABC/123s/Animals at the top of the toy are easy to follow for a young child either. I'm giving this toy two stars because my son (and his toddler sister) seem to like it but I'm tempted to throw it away because of all the negatives.
