Finally - someone got it right!
This thing is ridiculously great. I don't know how many different irrigation timers are out there that try to simplify the programming process and fail miserably. This thing was so simple to use, program, and get up and running, you literally can "throw away the instructions." Instead of stupid little buttons and hard-to-see LCD readouts, you simply get a knob that turns to set each valve and LEDs that light up to indicate what day of the week you want to water on. It's great - someone finally took the time to properly design a sprinkler controller station and this is a 10/10.

Good timer
I was looking for a timer that didn't require you to refer to the instructions each time you wanted to make a change. This one fits the bill. It is indeed easy to program as advertised. My only beef with the unit is when you want to water more than once a day. We like to do a brief watering on each circuit, then run through each circuit again with a longer cycle. But with this timer, the intervals for twice a day are pre-programmed at six hours apart. If you want to water three times a day, that setting has its own intervals although we don't use that one. If you can live with those limitations, then this would be a good unit to try.

A superior product
This timer was very simple to program. I was done in 10 minutes. Truly, anyone can do it. I replaced a Toro Timer with this one, and was very happpy to have the Toro timer out and replaced with this one. No recharger is needed. It's a real pleasure to use a device like this one. I was always swearing by the time I finished programing the Toro.

Great Timer
This was a very easy timer to set. I liked the feature where you could run a zone for just ten minutes. I live in an area where you can only water by the last digit of your street address, odd or even and I was surprised to see you could set the timer to water on odd or even days.

Easy installation and programing
I just replaced an old Rain Bird RC-7 mechanical controller with this new electronic marvel in 30 minutes. Very easy. Excellent instructions. Well done Rain Bird.
