Great weather station
Nice weather station. It's easy to setup even with lousy instructions. I had trouble getting the rain gauge to work but resetting the unit force it to scan for all the sensors and it's been working ever since. It looks nice on my desk and seems to be very accurate. I recommend this unit.

I'm not real thrilled with the controls on the actual station but its accurate and compact

Very nice instrument that doesn't work
We were unable to get the wind speed component to work although the other components did work. As this was the main reason we wanted it for, we asked for another. Apex Supplier sent another immediately. They were also very good about returning the defective ones. After receiving the second one and not getting it to work either, we emailed Oregon Scientific directly to see if we were doing something wrong. We got one automatic email saying they would get back to us within 4 days, which they never did. Evidently Oregon Scientific is having quality control issues.

What a lemon!!!
I bought the WMR 100 for my husband for Xmas in 2007. It is now Sept 2008 and it still doesn't work right. In fact, Oregon Scientific sent me a new one, just got it a couple days ago, and like the original, cannot get the rain guage to work at all. At least on this one the wind sensor works (it did not on the first one). It has been very frustrating and dealing with OS customer service. They tell me there are no replacement parts, but when challenged, they suddenly find some. They tried to trade for a lower quality unit--I said no way. they recently sent me the WMR 100na, which I believe is their updated model--On Monday I will be dealing with customer service again. Maybe I will get a working unit before the year warranty is up (in 3 months)....I doubt it!!!

Product is OK
The product is great, good functionality.
One bad news: to use the full functions with the software, you have to buy it separately.
