Product Description: Rack 'em and break 'em with this Pool Stick for your Nintendo Wii. Designed in the mold of a conventional pool stick, this 26.5 inch stick will give you the authentic feel of cueing it up on the pool table. The handle of the stick serves as the cradle for your Wii remote. The tip of the stick is covered with a rubber to prevent any harm in the event that someone or something is poked. It is light in weight so that it does not become taxing over a period of long playing time, which makes the game even more enjoyable for the user. With this pool stick, jumping into your game is as easy as saying, "8 ball, corner pocket".

Customer Reviews
DO NOT BUY - IT DOES NOT WORK
There are pieces inside the cue stick that block the IR transmitter on the WiiMote. (I did not realize this before purchasing). Save your money and only buy Nintendo Officially Licensed Products (I am not even sure if this product was even tested.)

Give it a try.. it does work
I have read a lot of complaints about the pool cue and seen some tips as well. It took me a bit to figure out, but once I did it works great. I found that with the Wiimote in the cue holder, if you hold it with the remote facing down (opposite from the way you would normally hold it) it works great!! you don't have to move your sensor bar from the top of the TV or anything. I really like it. It's improved my game and made it a lot more fun

Another Epic Wii Failure
If you use the sensor bar as mentioned on top of your tv, which I do as it's a large tv, the stick blocks the signal if you don't screw it together all the way it isn't tight and flops around. You can wedge something in the gap to make it tight but fooling around with this thing to make it work properly isn't what I paid for.
It shows on the box that it goes together differently than it does when you assemble it, if it went together as shown on the box this review would be different because I actually like the idea just not the implementation.
There is a hole at the top of the stick that allows the sensor bar to read the wiimote the problem is that the hole, when the stick is put together properly, ends up at the bottom of the stick making it necessary for you to move your sensor bar below your tv which is not convenient to me at all. On the package it shows the opening on top however, there is no way to thread it tightly this way. Neat concept and I really wanted it to work but it just doesn't. Why isn't there a way to adjust the opening for where you have your sensor bar and not make me adjust my sensor bar for the opening so I can enjoy the one pool game I own?

Works or not depending on how you use it.
I really take some risk to buy it with such a poor rate. When I got it, I found out why some people called it a failure.
If you put your sensor bar above your TV like me, it definitely won't work if you assemble it as designed. Because the infra red signal comes out from a hole at the bottom of the stick. The stick itself will block the signal when sensor bar is higher. If sensor bar is below your TV, it works fine. Just for people playing with two hands, your left hand may block the signal sometimes.
For those who put the sensor bar above your TV, I suggest to use it as what I do now. It definitely works and gives you a real feel. Don't screw the stick onto the controller holder to its very end. Make half a circle left such that the hole will face upword. Now enjoy game and your pool stick.
Hope it help.
