Sometimes The Simple Things Are the Most Compelling
World of Goo is a superb masterpiece of simple entertainment. I thoroughly enjoy the visuals and the gooey sounds. It is well worth the price. You won't need a super high end computer or the latest graphics card. The game just entertains with pure quirky fun.

Everything about World of Goo is top notch. From the beautiful, hand-painted art to the musical score, it's a quality piece of software that deserves your dollars. The two developers also deserve kudos for releasing a version of the game for linux, the increasingly popular open source operating system.

The 3 guys who made this game did something huge companies dream of doing which is creating something fun, addicting and plain beautiful.

KEEPS GOOING & GOOING!
This is a small game only in cost: it has offered me endless hours of fun!
If I were to describe this game as simply "building bridges made out of, well, elastic goo", I would do it no justice. I could never imagine how entertaining balancing goo-tension and gravity could be!
The graphics are clear and do not have high hardware requirements. The music is well chosen and appropriate. And the gameplay you will find yourself longing for after some hours away from the game.
WORLD OF GOO is a game that can be enjoyed by the whole family - and it comes free from any draconian DRM schemes.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

utterly amazing! better than you can imagine!
It's wonderful for anybody. I bought the PC version thinking it was for Mac. It isn't, of course. But I saved it for when the kids come over and play on their laptops. The Wii version is available on WiiWare...see the official Goo website for the link. And it is also available for Mac as a download for the Goo website...I got mine there. I just now bought two more PC versions for Christmas presents. One for an adult, one for kids. they will love it I know.
This is a very challenging game that is very, very fun. My 12 year old game crazy and proficient grandson rated it a 10 out of 10. I love it. Best game for video play EVER, I think.
