Customer Reviews
Great device, even for a non-gamer
This device is made to plug into an XBOX 360, to allow for input for 3 wired controllers. I don't have an XBOX, but I find this device valuable regardless.
I use the Nyko Multi Reader 360 to add to the USB ports on my laptop, and as a SD media card reader. It performs great in both areas.
I highly recommend it.

Garbage...
Worked great for a few days. Then, when I needed it the most during my Rock Band party, it decides to stop working, and hasn't worked since. I love paying 20$ for something that works for three days. Probably as much as I love bashing my own head against a wall repeatedly.

Does what it was designed for well
The Nyko multi reader was specifically designed for the Xbox 360, but it also works with a PC computer via USB port. It effectively adds two USB ports to your Xbox 360 allowing you to connect five USB devices simultaneously to your Xbox 360, thereotically even more if you connect multiple multi-readers. Besides working as a USB hub it also has memory card slots to read various types of memory cards. Since purchasing this product it has worked as advertised with my Xbox 360. I am very satisfied, and the price was great also.

works well
I'm using this multi-reader on a Windows PC. It works great. I needed this because my computer's front USB ports short out and don't work properly. This device provides me with 3 USB 2.0 ports and a memory card reader in one small package that sits next to my phone. No more crawling around the carpet trying to get behind my case and plug in my USB drive every morning!

The other reviewer is wrong
The XBOX 360 does NOT have 1 USB port. It has 3. The reviewer who said it has 1 obviously doesn't own a 360, and/or probably works for the company that makes these things. The XBOX 360 has 1 USB port in the back (for the optional wireless kit) and 2 on the front panel. Duh.
Personally, this device is not worth much especially if you consider that most of us that have digital cameras can also (obviously) get those digital pictures onto our PC already via docking station or a card reader on your PC - most likely however would be a docking station, or you may already have a USB-to-PC cable that you transfer your pictures to and from. So, with that said, just get yourself a 10$ USB flash drive (AKA USB stick) for sale EVERYwhere these days and just plug that into your front panel instead (e.g., with photos, MP3s, etc.). I use these tiny USB sticks all around my house, epecially if I want to throw some pics or music onto my XBOX 360 to listen or look at. Simple, compact and cheap and now available right at the checkout counters of office supply stores and Wal-mart as well.
A 'Multi-Reader' for the XBOX 360 is ridiculous and redundant if you already have a PC.
