Customer Reviews
A tough game for younger kids, also has some save issues, but fun still
I got this game for my 2 year old, because he loved the movie so much. He loves the game too, but needs help with some of the more challenging areas. Also the game has some save problems, not just with game progress but with unlocking, maps, levels and bonus content. You can finish the game, unlock everything, but if the little one turns on the XBox, which defaults to New Game and hits A twice, while for example you are in the kitchen refilling his plate of Cheezits or something, you come back and suddenly everything is locked, all maps, all levels, all bonus content, and all your toddler can do is play the first level from start. This applies to toddlers, but also to anyone who in a moment of careless or impatience hits A twice. Yeah, definitely the developers should've tightened up the same system a little before release.
It's a fun game otherwise, good platforming, Wall-E is very cute, the game retells the story from the movie, both through gameplay and cutscenes. Some parts are a bit advanced, perhaps even frustrating, in that you have some specific goals to accomplish in timeframes, yet your game controls are not that precise. Sort of an unfair advantage to the computer.
The game also has offline multiplayer, up to four players. Some of the games are pretty good. But all are played in isolation. No party structure or anything. But still, lots of fun. If you have two kids they can play the multplayer plenty.

WARNING! Waste of time & money
My son and I are big into games like this and are especially big fans of the Lego Star wars and Indiana Jones series. This game is NOTHING like that.
On top of being full of bugs, this game is beyond hard for certain level completion. The first Wall-e section is a little entertaining, but not co-op mode as advertised. The second level is an Eve training, I'm an advanced gamer and it took me over four hours to complete. And it was FAR from anything fun or entertaining. I just wanted to beat it to see if there actually was an co-op mode.

WALL E : Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class
WALL E is something of an puzzle/obstacle type adventure game. It is really interesting trying to figure out how to get from point A to B.
I especially enjoyed the exploding cubes that WALL E creates, the music is spirited, and I didn't get bored with tedious movements and motions like I do with other games.
I didn't like the way Storms would come up and I had no idea where to find shelter or times when I misunderstood exactly what the game wanted me to do. There were instances where the camera wouldn't adjust and I had difficulty in figuring out where to go.
Other than that I had an enjoyable time playing WALL E, searching for Wallops, and making my way through this wonderful world Pixar created. For people who loved the movie you'll especially enjoy playing the game.
